Part 1
A giant screen video presentation depicting the story of three young teens who try to cope with life's adverisities and peer pressure. They embark on a dangerous scenario involving drugs and alcohol. The film concludes in devastating results which illustrates the consequences of "real-life" situations that students are faced with. What makes this short movie so effective, is that the actors are teens, so students viewing the film can relate to them.
 
Part 2
Live interactive concert with a focus on "awareness", inspiring a good feeling through uplifting songs. This part of the TAKE CONTROL instructional program concentrates on creating a personal connection to students through audience participation, while breaking down the usual generation barriers associated with authoritative-type programs.
 
Part 3
A motivational speech to the students, powerfully delivered by the programs featured music artist, Phil Accardi. The message presented here emphasizes to students, the importance of following dreams and creating positive goals in the face of peer pressure and violence due to the effect of substance abuse.
